When are your exhibitions?
We have two set exhibitions per year. The first is our summer exhibition which typically runs from March 1st to Sept 1st. The second exhibtioins is out Western Lights. This exhibtions is out winter night time desert light experience which runs typically all od Decemebr to the 1st weekend of January. We do also have pop up exhibitions on ocassion as well as supplemental programing supporting our two set exhibtions. For more info on those you can keep up to date by signing up for our newsletter.
Where are your exhibitions?
Our exhiibtions are held at AIR: SPACE. The eaxt locations are 34°43’38.1″N 118°22’12.4″W.
Cost?
All exhibitions are free thanks to generous contributions from donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. If you would like to make a donation please visit Donate in our website’s top menu.
Accessibility?
All installations are meant to be experienced from a variety of perspectives and points of view. A.I.R. will, on request, make all reasonable modifications to ensure that people with disabilities can access and enjoy the exhibition. Where do I park?
Follow signs and park in designated areas only. Upon arriving please do not drive past the fenced area. Follow the law. Drivers who are not familiar with our desert roads and do not follow parking signs often get their vehicle stuck in the sand. Don’t be that driver. Art In Residence is not responsible for any theft or damage to visitors’ vehicles, property or towing bills.
Leave no trace
Art In Residence is committed to minimizing impact on the environment in the production of our exhibitions, and ask visitors to share this commitment when visiting our space. Do not leave garbage at sites, take out anything you bring in, and stay on designated pathways. Remeber you are not the only inhabitants of the desert. Are there restrooms?
There are no public restrooms at the Art In Residence space. The nearest bathroom would be located at the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve.
