GRID is a delicate contrast between landscape and architecture. Made from Solar LED Lights and 6′ translucent tubes, GRID serves as a liminal space of reflection, dialogue & conversation between the manmade and the natural through varying forms of interaction. Taking as its subject the electrical grid and utilizing the shape for a strict 4×4 grid signifying the idea of enclosure. GRID is an exploration of inside and outside, Inclusion and exclusion. GRID’s criticality lies within the edges of the work – moments of appearance and disappearance. GRID is both an object and a landscape, It is possibility and uncertainty, It is standing on the edge of a precipice.
