Electric Tumble Weeds is a delicate contrast between the natural and artificial coalescing to create a liminal space in the vast open high desert landscape. Made from Solar LED Lights the installation takes as its subject natural and made made elements that exist in the Antelope Valley landscape from electrical towers, the pulsing red lights of the Tehachapi wind farms, rolling tumble weeds and the mesmerizing star light sky at night.
